Logging

Recently I was tasked, along with my brother to remove a tree from our back garden, it was becoming a menace to both our garden and our neighbours as well as a potential risk to pedestrians walking down the footpath running beside our house as the overhang was quite considerable. It became quite evident early on in the task that some previous owner of the house had had similar thoughts, about half way up the tree all of the inner trunks became stumps where they had been quite neatly cut, all at the same height. This formed quite the convenient platform from which to cut the larger trunks rather than removing the whole limb from ground level which can be quite the hazard which we found out to the cost of one of Mels' roses. Anyway, with the new purchase of a chainsaw and my brothers assistance we took down not only 1 but 3 trees and then segmented and stored them.
