First tooth

My baby bro has his very first tooth, still very small but none the less - exciting!

New layout

Why? Because pictures look better on black backgrounds in my humble opinion.

Lens flare, helicopters in the making and a makeshift bird bath

Our guttering is a frequent and popular haunt for the birds of the neighbourhood, I don't think it has a steep enough gradient resulting in a small bird sized pool of water collecting in the corner. Unfortunately I wasn't quick enough to catch the fight that ensued between the two birds (you can just about see the second still perched in the gutter) over the favourite spot.

Garden safari

Despite the initial appearance of a drab and boring garden when one takes a closer look at the occasional flowers in my garden it becomes evident that life is rarely boring, we simply don't take the time to look. I find myself in the constant challenge to remain childlike insofar as  allowing myself to be amazed the small things I see, in the knowledge that they are infinitely more complicated than then look, and they look good as it is!
